The nail-biting 11-inning matchup where the Dodgers overcome the Toronto Blue Jays by one run averaged a total over 50 million spectators across the United States, Canadian, and Japan territories. In the Japanese market, where the final contest began at 9 PM local time, it drew 12 million viewers. This came after last Friday’s sixth game – in which World Series MVP Yoshinobu Yamamoto gave up a single run in six frames – recorded 13.1 million viewers, making it the most-watched Fall Classic matchup on a sole broadcaster in Japan.
